Attentive Sales Rep

The old dishwasher at the cabin finally gave up a couple of weeks ago. Today my mom and I decided to buy a new one. We had already done some research thanks to the Consumer Report and input from my brother who is spending the summer at the cabin. When we got to the appliance section in the store, there were a couple of sales people sitting together and chatting. Before we got to them I was wondering if someone would offer to help us or not. When I’m shopping with my mom, we move pretty slowly and it can be hard to tell if we are looking at something or just passing through. It is always interesting to me to see how the sales people respond. As we just passed the group, one of the ladies asked if we were finding everything OK. I told her we were looking for a dishwasher and she took it from there. She mostly talked to my mom, which I very much appreciated. Because my mom has Parkinson’s disease, her facial expressions are not always apparent and people tend to dismiss her. But this particular sales woman treated her with the respect that she deserves. Occasionally I had to repeat things to my mom, but other than that, she made the decision and the purchase. We both had a great experience.

I Found God today in an attentive sales woman who treated my mom with respect.
