Tonight for our prayers, we read the readings for Holy Thursday Mass. One reading was about the Passover. This made us want to watch The 10 Commandments with Charlton Heston. Luckily my sister found it on one of the channels she subscribes to. We watched part of it tonight with my mom until she got too tired. We will have to go back to it a couple times to finish, but that’s ok. Watching that movie feels like an old Easter tradition. And while there’s so much I remember, there always seems to be something new as well. I love how it brings scripture to life – along with some creative liberty of course.
