I had a package to mail today so I went to the local UPS store. Luckily, when I arrived, there was no one else there. As I was completing my business, another customer came in and was helped by another clerk at the other end of the counter. When I finished and turned around, there was a line of people to the door. The other customer turned around about the same time and was excusing himself as he made his way through the crowd that had formed. He was headed my direction so I stopped to let him go in front of me. He said excuse me again as he slipped by and then an I’m sorry. As we reached the door, he said he would get the door for me to make up for scooting in front of me. I said thank you and I appreciated it. He was a very joyful person and not impatient or just trying to get through his tasks. It made an impression on me and helped me to be joyful too.
I Found God today in a joyful, considerate stranger.
