Song for the Unsung Hero

This morning in church before Mass started, the choir sang a patriotic song called, “Song for the Unsung Hero”. Towards the end, the song moved into, “My country ’tis of thee . . .” At this point, people in the congregation started singing which was to be expected. But what was surprising is that people also began to stand up until the entire church full was standing and singing, “America”. It was beautiful and brought tears to my eyes.

I Found God today in a patriotic song and moment.
