My mom got a sudden sharp pain in her chest this morning, so we ended up in the emergency room for the majority of the day. They ran all kinds of tests, but thankfully didn’t find any blaring problems. The pain ended up going away on its own. It is not exactly how I thought I would spend my birthday, but the well wishing from people during the day really lifted my spirits.
