My sister and I have been watching The Chosen, getting caught up on Season 4. It was pretty somber, and neither of us were ready to watch it before. My heart ached, but I thought the messages were very well done with empathy and kindness. We unknowingly finished it just in time for episodes 1 and 2 of Season 5 to be released in theaters. We saw it last night. On the way home, we talked about how misunderstood Jesus was. I have heard many people say they wish they could have lived during the time Jesus was alive to see and hear everything in person. But, His own Apostles lived with Him for 3 years and abandoned Him. The priestly leaders of the time wanted him dead. If they didn’t fully understand who Jesus what was and what was going on, how can we expect to. That helps me to be more patient with myself and my own faith. I’m looking forward to seeing the rest of the season.
