Today a friend shared a prayer from yesterday’s prayer group that I missed. I loved it.

“Dear Father, you, our Lord and God, are so amazing and you bring us so many gifts.  I ask for the gift of the Holy Spirit in our lives so we may have the strength and courage to be “the salt and light of the world”.  Let our actions reflect the faith you’ve given us as we speak and act only for you.  Let your love and peace fill our days so others may see your light shining through us.  We ask these blessings in the name of your son, Jesus Christ.  Amen”
