Today out of the blue I received an email that a “Care Page” that I subscribed to had been updated. I recognized the name as that of a family from the church I used to work for. The family had a little girl who was born with a heart defect. She went through multiple open heart surgeries as well as other procedures. The Care Page was a way to let people know how she was doing – especially during operations. The family has other children as well and I was always amazed at how they were able to juggle everything while spending so much time in the hospital. I was also in awe of their faith. The mom even volunteered for events and such as she could. She shared her faith, strength, and loving heart with so many and I am sure she continues to do so. The kids were very sweet, respectful, and joyful. The Care Page was updated as the little girl – much bigger now – was undergoing yet another surgery. I prayed for her and her family and thanked God for the blessing they are.

I Found God today in an unexpected notice that helped me to remember how people can be a blessing to others even though they are going through a rough time of it.
