When my son bought his house a few years back, two of his friends moved in as well and rented rooms. After a couple years, both of them became engaged and moved out. One of the previous roommates moved out of the city, but comes a couple days each month for work purposes. Then he stays at my son’s house. I spent the evening at my son’s house tonight taking care of his dog while he and his fiancee continue their trip. The roommate was in town, so he came over. His wedding is in less than 2 weeks. He told me all about their plans and the activities leading up to the big day. He was full of enthusiasm and joy. It was a blessing to visit with him and share in his excitement.
