My sister and her husband live near the eastern coast of Florida. Earlier this week we talked with them about the incoming hurricane. They were going to sit it out in their home. It is a fairly new house and made of concrete blocks. They brought in all the outdoor furniture and plants and anything else that could become a flying projectile. They had food and water and were prepared for a power outage. We heard from them this morning. They said it was very difficult to sleep last night as the storm came roaring through. This morning they discovered that many of the screens on their covered porch were torn and flapping in the wind, but that was all the damage that was immediately apparent. They didn’t lose power and were doing well – except for being exhausted. It was quite a ride as they prepared, constantly watched weather updates, and experienced a sleepless night. I was so glad to hear that they were safe.

I Found God today as my sister and her husband were safe in the storm.
