Today was the big day for the craft fair. My sister and I loaded up the assortment of 48 photos I had prepared for the event. The fair was held at the small community clubhouse where the cabin is located. All the vendors were residents. Most of the customers were too. I really enjoyed talking with everyone there, reminiscing about my father, and the cabin. The people were all very friendly. Some looked familiar and I’m sure I had met them at some point. Some people recognized my dad’s style and thought they had seen his work when it was shown in the local artist gallery. Most people appreciated the compilation of local history that was depicted in the photos. We sold 2 pictures and were happy with that. As a bonus, my son was in the area for his work. He came over to the show and we had dinner with him afterwards. It was really a great day.
