A memory popped up today on social media with my nephew just before he joined the Navy. He used to live close and we saw him pretty often. After he joined the Navy, he got married. He and his wife live in another state and it is “normal” not to see them so much, but I miss him. I had asked him to touch base when he could and was so happy to get a phone call from him this evening. We just caught up on life and talked about the future. It was so good to hear his voice.
