I have been fascinated by the life of a teenage boy who was a gamer, taught himself how to code, and loved his Catholic faith since he was a boy. When he received his First Communion, he realized it was truly the Body of Christ and vowed to live his life for Him. His parents didn’t practice their faith, but were converted due to the boy’s example of joy, compassion, and perseverance. Many others were converted as well, including his grandmother. Growing in his teenage years, he loved many of the same things as his friends – soccer, hiking, and his dog. However, he suddenly became very ill and died at only 15 years old. After his death, many miracles were attributes to his intercession. Even his mother who was unable to have any more children gave birth to twins. He was canonized a saint today. Now Saint Carlo Acutis is the first millennial saint. There is a good movie about his life that is available on EWTN. And I found this good clip. The faith he had during his entire, short life was inspiring. St. Carlo Acutis, pray for us!
I Found God today in a new millennial saint.
