It’s been a busy couple of days, and I was happy to spend some time at my son’s house today. He and his wife went to the local renaissance festival, and I took care of their dog while they were away. I got there early this morning and took the dog for a hike in a wooded park before it got too hot. When we first got on the trail, there was a couple with a German Shepherd and another dog in front of us coming our direction and behind us was a woman hanging on to 2 Boxer dogs. Luckily, there was a lot of room on the path, so I took the dog way over to the side and had her sit and wait until the situation sorted itself out. She was so good. The couple with the German Shepherd took a wide route around past me and the Boxers. The woman with the Boxers had her hands full, but they managed to make it past everyone. We waited until they were completely out of sight before we started again on the trail behind them. My son’s dog sat and waited the whole time. All during the rest of the hike, she was so well behaved. It was such a joy to be outside hiking and enjoying my furry friend.
I Found God today in nature.
