My son and his wife have had a lot of work to do in their yard and their deck has been in very bad shape. Being first time parents, it has been difficult for them to focus on anything except the baby. My son’s dad flew in from out of town for a couple of days to help repair the deck. My daughter in law’s parents also came over to help. I made some food and went to the house as well. The guys were outside working hard on the deck. My daughter in law was in the house with the baby attached. Her mom was outside getting weeds out of the rocks. I delivered their dinner, pulled weeds for a while, and took the dog for a walk. It was really great to see the generosity and work that was offered to help the new parents get some things taken care of.
