Today the piano tuner came back to do a little more work on the pianos. He started with the grand piano and took the keyboard right out. I had never seen such a thing. He set the keyboard on his table, filed the felt hammers, and gave me a little lesson on the inner workings of the instrument. When he was finished “voicing” the piano, my mom sat down and played. She said it had the touch she had been wanting. Also today, my brother set up a phonograph for my dad. He got out some of my dad’s favorite old albums and they listened to them most of the afternoon. It was a beautiful musical day that brought much happiness.
I Found God today in the happiness that music brings.
