The other day when I shared pictures of our plants, a friend noticed a picture on the wall. It was a certificate of an Apostolic Blessing that my mom and dad received in 1974 from Pope Paul VI who is now a saint. I thought I knew what it was for, but I’m glad I asked my mom about it, because I had it wrong. She said that we lived in Germany at the time. Both she and my dad were involved in organizing a new children’s religious education program at the church. Evidently the pastor requested the Pope’s blessing for those who contributed to the program. My mom said they were very surprised and humbled. It meant so much to them, that it is framed and hanging on the wall, and has been for almost 50 years.
I Found God today in an Apostolic Blessing that my parents received.
