This morning I read the scriptures for the day which included Mark 6:1-6. In this story, Jesus was trying to reveal God’s words to the people of His home town. However, they were offended by Him. This evening I visited a friend who had surgery a couple weeks ago. She was doing pretty good. Our conversation turned to faith. She said that when she gave her life to Jesus, she witnessed to anyone who would listen. But the hardest people for her to talk to was her own family. I told her about the scripture that I read this morning. I thought it was interesting that I started the day and ended the day connecting God’s Word with a real life experience.

I Found God today in God’s Word connecting with a friend’s experience.
