As I continue to go through things in the house, today I sorted out a box of memorabilia that included school papers and such from me and my siblings. It was fun to see our drawings and thoughts we had as children. I came across a couple stories that I had written. One I remember vividly as it was based on a dream I had, which I still remember. In the dream, the sky was dark during the day, but the moon was visible and glowing brighter. A tornado of sorts formed high in the sky – seemingly above the stars. As the tornado spun, the stars began to swirl as well, eventually getting sucked up into the tornado. Suddenly there was a big flash of light. When everything settled, it seemed that the moon was now our new sun. It was a wild dream. I created a story around it and wrote it in my best cursive on wide ruled notebook paper. It was entertaining to read and remember a younger me. And, yes, I got an A.
I Found God today remembering a younger, creative me.
