Syrup

I am trying to get back to more healthy eating, so today I made some tuna salad with an apple cider vinegar “de-tox” dressing. While I was at it, I decided to make some granola. I had some pecans and some coconut flakes and found a recipe that sounded good. It called for maple syrup. I remembered I recently finished the yummy syrup I got from New Hampshire. And I was excited as I had a jar of syrup made by my cousin that I brought back from Wisconsin. Now was the perfect time to crack it open. I gave it a little taste before adding it to the granola ingredients. It was delicious. The granola smelled amazing while it toasted in the oven. I thought about the big party that my cousin hosted and how wonderful it was to see everyone. They were gracious, generous, and compassionate. The loving connection with family is so powerful, in person and in memories. I will think of my visit with my cousins every time I have the granola and the syrup.

I Found God today thinking of loving family connections.
