Today I spent some time with a friend from my prayer group who I have known for several years. She sat in her favorite recliner, put on YouTube, and found a video of the Divine Mercy. We followed the video and prayed along. Every now and then during the 15 minute prayer, she was silent instead of praying out loud and I had wondered if she was falling asleep. When we had finished, she said that during the whole prayer she was thinking about how much Jesus suffered. She was meditating on the sacrifice that He made for her personally. She was humbled that Jesus has given us the way to eternal life and she hoped that one day He will come and bring her to Heaven with Him. My friend was so serious when she was telling me her thoughts and having a hard time even explaining what she meant. I could tell that she had a beautiful, spiritual experience.
