Today my dad had another test at the hospital. There was a lot of waiting involved and he was getting pretty anxious and irritated. When we finally got to the area to prepare for the test, his blood pressure was through the roof. The nurse was super nice and patient. She really helped my dad to relax and bring his blood pressure down. She was attentive, calm, and kind while getting things taken care of at the same time. Even though there was still waiting involved, the test went fine. Just before we left, we thanked the nurse for all she did. Then I realized it was nurse appreciation week. We certainly appreciated the one who helped my dad.
