My sister makes an amazing toffee and has attended a couple of chocolate festivals to sell her wares. I have come up with a couple of ways to use the small bits of toffee that are left after breaking it apart for packaging. For the better part of last week, I made truffles and cookies for her to sell along with the toffee at an upcoming event. My parents were so supportive and understanding as I was in my cooking flurry. Then, I attended the chocolate festival on Friday evening and all day Saturday while my other sister stayed with my parents. The event was a whirlwind of activity and my sister and I worked non-stop selling samples and products. We were super happy that my son came for the better part of Saturday to help us out. Plus, he brought another level of energy to the table. When all was said and done, all the products were completely sold out. People loved them. It was an exhausting, yet energizing weekend and I was happy it was such a success.
