My daughter in law and I planned on getting together last week, but it snowed and the roads were too bad. We rescheduled for today and it snowed again. However, she was already out taking the kids to school, which started late, so we did meet up. I was proud of her for driving on the not yet cleared roads. We had some brunch and visited. We talked about serious things and funny things. I realized just how long it had been since we sat down and talked and how much I missed her. It was such a blessing to get together.
