A friend of mine shared this insight to parents about their children from St. Mother Teresa. I thought it was particularly interesting as this morning I heard the song, “Cat’s in the Cradle”.

“You will teach them to fly but they will not fly your flight.
You will teach them to dream, but they will not dream your dreams.
You will teach them to live, but they will not live your life.
Nevertheless, in every flight, in every life, in every dream,
the print of the way you taught them will remain.”

I Found God today in a reminder of how we influence our children.
