One of our neighbors and her granddaughters had a lemonade and cookie stand today. The older granddaughter had the idea to raise money for a charity. Her grandmother has been sponsoring a young woman in Haiti through Compassion International since she was 10 years old. She had pictures of her from when she was a child and now she is 22 years old. The neighbor and her husband have even been to the country and met the girl in person. The money from the lemonade stand would be sent to the young woman. I spent the day at home today doing some cleaning. I was happy to take a break and visit the lemonade stand and have some yummy cookies. While I was there, several other neighbors came as well and gave generous donations for their treats. I thought it was a wonderful way to support the granddaughter’s thoughtfulness as well as the young woman from Haiti.

I Found God today in a generous and thoughtful family.
