Extreme Courage

Yesterday I was blessed to go to my granddaughter’s voice lesson and listen to her sing. She has been taking lessons for about a year now as singing is truly her passion. It became evident when she was a toddler that God had given her this talent. Her perfect pitch and musicality is truly amazing. Before she started lessons, she was shy and didn’t want anyone to watch her sing. So she had me in tears during the lesson as she looked directly at me and sang the song, “What Was I Made For”. Her teachers have given her more confidence and courage to share her wonderful gift.

Today I went to a craft fair at a local church. There I saw a woman who I met when I was taking a Biblical course. We chatted for a bit and I told her of my mother’s death. Her husband who was with her said that his sister took care of his parents for 10 years as well. He said there was no way that he would have been able to do what his sister did. He felt that you have to have extreme courage in order to be a caregiver. I had never thought of it that way and it touched my heart. I was grateful for his encouragement.

I Found God today in extreme courage.
