Set on the Spirit

A few months ago, I was given a book called, “Nine Words” by Allen R. Hunt. The book is based on the nine “fruits of the Holy Spirit” as outlined by Paul in Galatians. I have been reading slowly, allowing the wisdom and encouragement to sink in. Last night I read about how important it is to keep our focus on the things of God and living in union with the Holy Spirit. Doing so will bring peace and patience. It just happens. Today, one of the meditations I read was a quote by the same author from the same book, “Set your mind on the Spirit and the things of God, and soon your heart finds peace and life itself.” I guess I am on the right track.

I Found God today in affirmation that I am reading the right words that will help to change my heart.
