My sister and I have been working hard at getting the house ready for her to move in. We were able to sell many of the estate items and donate others. An estate dealer sold some things and took everything else out of the house that was not needed. Once the house was pretty empty, I got new carpet put in the basement. After that, I did some deep cleaning and put some things back together. I was super excited that today was my sister’s move in day. She said goodbye to her friends and to the beautiful respite in the mountains where she had been for 2 years. She bought much of the rustic style furniture that was barely used. A moving company packed up her things and brought them to my house. Before long, my mostly empty house was just about full again. Things look very different and that is good. Both my sister and I are ready for a fresh new start.
