Today I learned of some interesting connections that I had not known of, or thought of before. On October 13, 1884, Pope Leo XIII had a terrifying vision of Satan trying to take over the Vatican and Rome and using that power to scatter the flock of the Church. Pope Leo then composed the prayer to St. Michael the Archangel that can be prayed after Mass in many churches. On October 13, 1917, there was the Miracle of the Sun at Fatima, where thousands of people witnessed the sun spinning in the sky with bright colors coming from it. Suddenly, it came towards the earth which frightened everyone, then returned to it’s normal place in the sky. It had been raining and people were soaking wet. After the miracle, everyone was completely dry. On October 13, 2026, Pope Leo XIV went into surgery for lung cancer and had a successful procedure. A couple of days after the surgery, he felt it necessary to call President Putin from his hospital room and ask for a cease fire in the Ukrainian city of Oleshky so humanitarian assistance could be exercised. It made me wonder what kind of spiritual experience did Pope Leo XIV have that caused such a sense of urgency. I do believe that God gives us plenty of ways to connect miracles, warnings, and events, to help us prepare and come closer to Him if only we pay attention.
I Found God today in interesting spiritual connections.
