Today is the feast day of St. Padre Pio. He suffered much in his life as a priest, but remained prayerful and vigilant. One of his quotes is,
“Some people are so foolish that they think they can go through life without the help of the Blessed Mother. Love the Madonna and pray the rosary, for her Rosary is the weapon against the evils of the world today. All graces given by God pass through the Blessed Mother.”
Evidently, St. Padre Pio had the rosary with him at all times and prayed it often during the day. As struggles and hardships seem to come rapidly at this point in life, this thought gives me courage and hope. My mom and I talked about how it would be a good idea to carry a rosary in a pocket during the day, so when confusion, anxiety, or worry creep in, we have a weapon to use to fight it off.

I Found God today remembering the power of the rosary.
