In the new prayer group that I joined, there is a couple who I haven’t met yet, but heard that the wife was having a very serious surgery to take out a mass that was found. We prayed for her when we met, and the family was on my mind the whole day of the procedure. I read some of what the husband shared the day before the surgery, and though they were all concerned, he spoke of how blessed they were. I was happy to hear that the doctors considered the extensive surgery a success, although they did find the mass was cancer. The family now will face recovery and decisions on how best to move forward, but they are grateful for the results so far and the prayers. The church group is rallying to set up a schedule to help provide meals for them. I am glad to meet new faith-filled people who praise God in the hard times and in the small victories.
I Found God today in faithful family who has struggles yet to face.
