Today a friend shared her reflection on 2 Corinthians 5:8 “Yet we are courageous, and we would rather leave the body and go home to the Lord.” She wrote about how the scripture gave her hope after her grandmother died. I thought it was beautiful. Tonight I went to a grief support group. Part of the session was about hope. I was reminded of the verse and was again in awe of God’s providential nudges. In the video that we watched, a man shared how he tried to rebuild his life on his own after his loved one passed away. Until he no longer could. He then surrendered to God. He described the experience as if he had been walking around with blinders on and they were suddenly removed. He became aware of all God’s promptings and interventions and care.
I Found God today reminded to put my hope in Him.
